Chess: Captain Jef Follner has taken the lead!

0

Jef Follner was not expected to participate in the Christmas tournament organized at Captain Frenchy. But he had to replace at short notice a good player who was hospitalized that very morning. And he further enhanced his record of the Northern Islands by brilliantly winning this tournament.

He is ahead of his friend Yashwant Vaswani with whom he played in a national blitz final in 2011. The game between them was the tightest since Jef only had 6 seconds left when he tamed Yashwant who was hoping to win the game. at the time.

On the 3rd on the podium, we find the veteran Jules Richinsin, present in all the tournaments since 2006, who has again shown his qualities against the youngest. Levy Truilhier and Akil Bryan fought for the title of best youngster who turned to the advantage of the former. A big thank you to the partners of the event.
