For the 5th consecutive year, the French Federation of Diabetics is organizing the National Diabetes Prevention Week. Locally, the Saint-Martin Santé association is joining this initiative which will run until Friday. Among the various actions, the members of the association will travel to different schools to raise awareness among students in the area. “Diabetes, check where you are” is the key message of this campaign: take a few minutes to complete the risk test on the following site: www.contrelediabete.fr.
Note that the association has a room in Concordia to accommodate the public, inaugurated in April 2015 by vice-president Ramona Connor. _EH
