MB was presented for immediate appearance this Wednesday, July 7, before the court of Saint-Martin.

When he returned from the evening on July 1 with the car that AM, his partner, had refused to lend him because he did not have the license, MB was hungry. But when he arrives in the kitchen of the villa AM rents at the Jardins de la Baie Orientale, he realizes that she hasn't cooked him food. Worse, she threw a piece of a baguette a few days old in the trash.

This is too much for MB, 37 years old and fan of Thai boxing, who goes out to run his nerves on the furniture in the garden while AM is in front of the TV. And then everything is linked. Objects are no longer enough. He violently lifts the sofa AM sits on, causing her to fall to the floor and bang her head against the floor. He tries to strangle her, pushes her and hits her against the walls, then grabs a kitchen knife, slashes the walls and puts her to her throat while threatening her: "I'm going to kill you, you won't go away." without me, it's life to death ”.

Their roommate intervenes, grabs the knife and calls the gendarmes. AM's 8-year-old daughter, awakened by the screams of her mother and her partner, comes down to go to the bathroom. MB orders him to go back up to "piss in his room" and throws a sandwich in his face. “Look, I'm going to kill your mother and after you” throws MB at him. The roommate, JL, then takes the child to neighbors.

The gendarmes have trouble finding the house and take 45 minutes to arrive during which JL goes outside and back to show them the way. MB takes advantage of his absences to continue to abuse his partner. When the gendarmes arrived, AM presented multiple bruises on the body and signs of strangulation. MB is placed in police custody and then in pre-trial detention.

He was referred Wednesday, July 7 and presented for immediate appearance before the Saint-Martin correctional court for aggravated violence (with weapon and on spouse) in recidivism, threats of death in recurrence, and damage to property. After deliberating, the court declared him guilty of the charges and sentenced to two years in prison with a committal warrant and ban on carrying a weapon. He also received the victim's civil proceedings. The civil hearing is postponed until January.
