By decree of December 15, 2016, voters are summoned to proceed to the election of the territorial councilors of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, on March 19, 2017 and in the event of a second round on March 26, 2017.
The prefecture informs you that:
1. The candidacies for the first round will be received from Monday February 27, 2017 to Friday March 03, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m.
These must be filed:
• for candidates from Saint-Barthélemy to the antenna of the prefecture, rue Lubin Brin, Gustavia
• for candidates from Saint-Martin to the prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin Route du Fort Louis 97150 - Marigot.
In the event of a second round, the candidacy declarations will be filed under the same conditions, from Monday March 20, 2017 to Tuesday March 21, 2017, at 8 a.m. to 18 p.m.
2. Each candidate at the head of the list will be able to claim a flat-rate reimbursement of his campaign expenses, within the limit of 47,5% of the ceiling amount of expenses (article L. 52-11-1 of the electoral code) for their electoral district subject to :
- obtain at least 5% of the votes cast in the first ballot,
- compliance with the legislation relating to the financial transparency of electoral expenses.
The amount of the electoral expenses ceiling provided for Saint-Barthélemy is € 7, and for Saint-Martin is € 421.
