Last Sunday, at 9:30 am, on the beach of Grandes Cayes, in Cul-de-Sac, a couple of walkers discovered the lifeless body of a man.
Alerted, the soldiers of the Gendarmerie quickly went on the spot. Assisted by a forensic doctor, they confirm the death of a man, aged about thirty years. The first findings made it possible to retain the criminal track as to the causes of death. The anthropometric samples quickly lead to identify the victim: it is a French resident, installed in Saint Martin since the end of May 2016. An autopsy of the body is scheduled for the next few days. The Saint Martin Research Brigade was seized of the investigation. _AF
