“I was sad to learn of the death of Doctor Yves De Polo who cared for many Saint-Martin families and who was appreciated and recognized by our community.
Doctor De Polo has marked the history of our island through his professional and human commitment to serving the local population. More than a doctor, he was for years a confidant, a member of the family for many here.
Saint-Martin loses a man of conviction, a personality who knew how to represent his island with valor and courage.
The territorial advisers and the employees of the community join me in sending our deepest condolences to the De Polo family, his wife Michèle, his son Gaëtan De Polo and all of his relatives and friends.
