“We are in shock following the announcement of the death of Mr. Alain Contant, Paying Treasurer of the Collectivity, responsible for the Saint-Martin Public Finance Center (CFP).
Mr. Contant was our privileged interlocutor, we have great grief in the face of this terrible ordeal for his family and loved ones. Over time, we had forged professional and friendly ties since taking up the post at the head of the CFP Saint-Martin, he has been an essential partner at a pivotal moment in the history of our overseas community.
We have fond thoughts for his family to whom we send our most sincere condolences and our unwavering support.

Alain Contant was at our side when we made the choice of an in-depth restructuring of public procurement. His flawless investment in helping Saint-Martin and the Collectivity made Alain Contant a good man, attentive to his environment, concerned about the success of our institutions. He had a strong, endearing, bubbly personality, a man we will remember.
