Covid-19: 34 new positive cases recorded in part of France

0

The last health bulletin dating from November 9 to 15 reports 34 new positive cases for Covid-19 identified in Saint-Martin. This brings the total number of active cases in the territory to 78. Taking into account consolidated data from previous weeks, this brings to 690 the number of cumulative cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test since the start of the epidemic.

The Louis-Constant Fleming hospital is still very mobilized for the management of the crisis. As of November 16, 7 confirmed Covid patients are hospitalized in the establishment's medical department (with a peak of 10 hospitalizations on November 10). On the other hand, no medical evacuation of COVID patients was carried out to Guadeloupe from November 9 to 15.

Otherwise, 247 additional tests were performed in the laboratory and in the hospital, with a total number of 7149 tests recorded.

The drive activity continues at LC Fleming hospital, making it possible to offer a PCR screening offer which must remain the benchmark test. The antigenic drive (accessible on Friar's bay) is now fully operational (as a reminder: open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 16 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.).

The latter carried out 146 tests last week, for 0 positive cases detected (NB: these figures are not cumulated with the previous figures in connection with PCRs, antigenic tests being the subject of special monitoring).

Circulation virus still very active

The weekly incidence rate remains above the alert threshold with a rate of 95,12 / 100 inhabitants.

The positivity rate over the past week decreases compared to the previous week but remains well above the alert threshold: 13,80% in W45 (vs 17,80% the week before). These two indicators thus confirm a very active circulation on the territory. It is absolutely necessary to be extra vigilant, especially since the incidence rate has particularly increased among 10-20 year olds and 20-30 year olds (respectively, from 50,19 to 83,66 and 49,81 to 199,23, 80) and that the 90-336,96 year olds have the highest incidence rate: 100 / 000 inhabitants. _AF
