On Wednesday, November 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 18 p.m., an undeclared garage that had been operating for 16 years in Quartier d'Orléans was checked as part of the COTAF (Territorial Anti Fraud Operational Committee).
The manager of this company has been placed in police custody. At the end, he was summoned to the Court of Saint-Martin for the month of March 2017. During this operation, 10 vehicles were removed:
- 6 wrecks, the removal and destruction of which were taken care of by the Collectivité of Saint-Martin.
- 1 vehicle in good condition, the owner of which has not been identified.
- 3 vehicles removed at the expense of their owner.
The controls operated by COTAF bring together all the State services (Labor Inspection, Fraud Repression, Environment, URSSAF, Border Police and Gendarmerie). _AF
