The Summer Festival Committee and the Department of Youth and Culture announced that due to the ongoing health crisis, the Executive Board has decided that, although it is a difficult decision, to cancel the Festival Aguilla Summer 2020.
The Committee had already started planning for this year's Festival even as it became increasingly evident that it was unlikely to continue. After several meetings, the committee was able to formulate three possible scenarios, the most likely of which would be the cancellation of the annual celebration. It turns out that this is the scenario that was chosen.
The Committee informed that planning for the 2021 Summer Festival is underway and that groups and individuals interested in offering their services to subcommittees or participating in any event are encouraged to contact the President.
