Coronavirus: The director general of the Guadeloupe teaching hospital and the head of the positive resuscitation service at Covid-19

The Director General of CHU de Guadeloupe, Gérard Cotellon, the head of the intensive care unit and the president of the Joint Establishment Commission were tested positive with coronavirus, said a press release from the Guadeloupe teaching hospital on Monday, March 23.

Their state of health does not cause concern for the time being, underlines the press release which adds that this situation in no way affects the normal functioning of the governance of the CHU.

The press release also recalls the health instructions and barrier gestures specifying that in this war against the coronavirus, everyone is in the same boat.

Guadeloupe had 62 confirmed cases of coronavirus on Monday, including 18 hospitalized at the CHU: 6 in intensive care and 12 in the service of infectious and tropical diseases. One person died of the virus in Guadeloupe.
