The National Assembly adopted last week the bill, tabled by the deputy Serge Letchimy, relating to the external action of the local authorities and to the cooperation of the overseas territories in their regional environment. The deputy Daniel Gibbs - speaker of the group Les Républicains on this text - welcomed on the whole "good progress for the overseas". George Pau-Langevin, Minister of Overseas Territories, welcomed the adoption of this private member's text, supported by the government. Its consideration in Parliament will continue in the Senate in the coming weeks.
