The prefect Anne Laubies and the president of the Community Aline Hanson signed last Friday the framework contract, prior to the city contract, in the premises of the prefecture. Two sectors in difficulty were selected: Sandy Ground and Quartier d'Orléans.
This first document is the result of the territorial diagnosis carried out in partnership with the COM and the State, specified the prefect to the press. During the summer period, working meetings will take place with the various partners, including the Health Agency (ARS). The results of these consultations will make it possible to sign the city contract in October. The various actions in these two neighborhoods will focus on five themes, including the environment and safety. “For each theme, an inventory has been drawn up in these neighborhoods, which will result in the implementation of appropriate policies”, explained the president. The prefect and the president insisted on the fact that the services of the State and the COM worked together on this contract, resulting from the planning law for the city and social cohesion of February 21, 2014. The secretary general of the prefecture Mathieu Dolgez specified that the financial envelope allocated to the city contract amounts to 250.000 euros for the year 2015. During this conference, the Director General of Services (DGS) of the COM Philippe Millon spoke of the major lines of the territorial diagnosis. In these two neighborhoods, the fight against unemployment and early school leaving will be a priority, as will support for initiatives in favor of young people. Anne Laubies stressed that a prefect's delegate will be appointed in October as part of this city contract, the terms of which will be online soon on the sites of the prefecture and the COM.
