To mark with a white stone! The creation of the Mixed School Sport Section (SSS) dedicated to football has just seen the light of day at the Mont des Accords college.

In partnership with National Education, represented by Michel Sanz,  vice-rector, head of the National Education of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barth,  assistant to the rector of the academy of Guadeloupe, the French Football Federation via the Saint-Martin League, chaired by Aristide Conner and Gilles Petit, technical advisor, responsible for the mixed school sports section, Suzelle Karam, principal of the Mont des College Accords, Alain Pansiot-Villon, EPS Coordinator at the Collège Mont des Accords, Jacotin Lourdie, referent of the sports section and the Collectivity of Saint-Martin,  15 4th and 3rd year students  were selected to join this year the brand new Mixed School Sports Section (SSS) dedicated to football.

An integral part of the school project and the academic project, the Mixed Football School Sports Section, motivates students by giving them the opportunity to be valued in the sport they love, to express skills that can contribute to their academic success and their social recognition. It allows them to open up to the outside, to develop their autonomy, to acquire a team culture and to evolve in relationships of solidarity. They thus participate in their civic education.

Clearly, the Mixed Football School Sports Section allows young people to flourish physically and intellectually, in the practice of a sport that fascinates them, without this passion limiting their learning at school but on the contrary, favors them.

For information for the 15 "residents" of the Football section (2 sessions are scheduled per week, Tuesday and Friday from 15 p.m. to 30 p.m. at the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium), an academic and sports report will be drawn up each quarter by your coordinating teacher and your main “teacher”.

It's up to you in the field and in class.

A word to you ... _AF
