Pétanque: Julien and Guillaume winners of a suspenseful final!

At the end of a hotly contested final (13-12), Julien and Guillaume are the big winners of the trained doublets competition which took place on Sunday, September 27 at the Cariboule club bowling alley in Nettlé Bay.

Congratulations to the 17 teams entered, as well as to the new players who were present for this friendly tournament.

The Cariboule club takes the opportunity to also thank the Cozier family with Cathy, Chris, Patsy and Eddy, who again delighted with their good home-prepared meals, as well as their famous Saint-Martin BBQ, not to mention the head bartender, Daniel.

The next competition will take place on Sunday, October 11, still on the boules pitch at Nettlé Bay in arranged pairs.

Registrations will take place from 9:00 a.m., the team draw at 9 a.m. and the stopper throwing at 45 a.m. sharp!

You can also come and train on the bowling alley every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 15 p.m. until nightfall.

    Even for friendly or wild petanque competitions, participants must be reminded that wearing closed shoes is compulsory in order to give a more noble image of the discipline.
