The carbet reconstruction project on Orient Bay beach includes four large shops, four smaller ones and eight kiosks. To date eleven AOTs have been issued.

Louis Gomez (Sexy Suits) and Mathieu Kassabalian were authorized to build a beach shop. The AOT is valid for ten years and its amount is 700 euros per month.

At the start of the year, Dorette Fleming, Roselaine Damier, Joseph Bocage, Sabrina Hyman (Chez Lili) had an AOT to operate a kiosk or a boutique for two years.

Adelia Fabre, Donia Mussington, Daniel Emile (D and D) and Dany Walle also obtained a two-year AOT to occupy a kiosk for the sale of tourist accessories. The monthly rent is 200 euros.

Josette Giurdet (Adam and Eve) was authorized to build a small shop; his AOT is for two years with a monthly rent of 500 euros.

Before Irma, rents were respectively 1 euros per month for a large shop, 400 euros per month for a small shop and 1 euros per month for a kiosk.

As with restaurants, store managers build them themselves using containers.

For kiosks (half-containers), they are installed, fitted out and delivered to traders by COM.

According to the project, two water sports will be operated, these are kiosks fitted out and delivered by the COM. The AOTs were awarded in January to Edward Rohan (Paradise Water Sport) and Rollin Glascow for a period of two years.
