The adoption of the 2017 original budget of the Collectivity, prepared by the old majority, was the main point, last Saturday, of the first Territorial Council of the new term. This budget of 177 million euros - 141 million euros in operation and 36 million euros in investment - presented in balance is not “a simple transitional budget”, declared the president Daniel Gibbs at the beginning of the meeting plenary: “Despite the extremely short time allotted to us to work on this budget, we are able to meet our objectives.” Daniel Gibbs' team will therefore keep its commitments to the population since 2 million euros have been released, announced the president "by rationalizing and reorienting certain budget lines".
