The association “Bodybuilding and Fitness Association of Saint Martin (BFAS)” stood out in Colombia thanks to the 3rd place obtained by Elvina Matthew during the international competition “Miss and Mister Ameirca IFBB Cup”.
This competition took place in Bogota (Colombia) for the “Elite Pro”, 2018 season with more than 20 participating countries and more than 300 athletes registered in various categories.
Saint-Martin therefore won the 3rd prize hands down in the person of Mrs. Elvina Matthew.
“Elvina is an athlete with a lot of promise. She works hard at workouts and is determined. The island of Saint-Martin can be proud of it ”underlines François Carty, president of the association and coach of Elvina.
"It was difficult to prepare, especially under the current conditions, but we remained motivated. Which allowed us to win this award.
Saint-Martin is currently recognized internationally for the quality of its athletes. We can do more and go even higher if we continue to have the support we so badly need. Our journey has only just begun and we take note at each competition of the improvements and modifications to be made in order to move forward.
The IFBB Diamon Cup scheduled in the Dominican Republic is our next stop from February 23 to 25, 2018.
