The construction site began on Monday, September 5, the companies mandated by Semsamar were present and presented their renovation program during this meeting.
The deck will be rebuilt in rot-proof red wood while new candelabra with solar lighting will be installed. Their number will be doubled.
For 3 months, Henoc Patrick (CLSPD Collectivity) has been in contact with the association of traders, Yann Lecam, Semsamar and the director of technical services for the Collectivity, Guillaume Petyt, to find an emergency solution allowing traders to have a work tool presentable for the high tourist season.
This work is a first step before major rehabilitation projects.
Vice-president Bernadette Davis praised the rapidity of action of Semsamar and the services of the Collectivity.
She also thanked the merchants for their patience as well as the president of Semsamar Alain Richardson and his teams for their responsiveness.
