Maritime affairs recorded a 10% drop in the number of boat registrations from Irma to Saint Martin. 101 files were processed. Conversely, an increase of 50% was noted in Saint-Barthélemy; it is either the first entry into service of a ship or a transfer (buyout).
With regard to the boat license, more titles have also been issued in Saint-Barthélemy. Fourteen sessions were carried out in which 101 people participated and 72 of them passed their exam. In Saint-Martin, only seven sessions could be organized, it is half as much as before Irma. 43 people took the exam and 37 took it. This decrease is mainly due to the disappearance of two of the three training boats.
