General and technological bac: 48% success in the first round

The results of the 2018 baccalaureate fell this Friday, July 6 in the academy of Guadeloupe. In Saint-Martin, at the Robert Weinum school complex, there were 185 candidates from all fields combined: 135 in the general series, 50 in the technological series.

While the national success rate stands at 78,8%, and at 75,6 in the Academy of Guadeloupe, in Saint-Martin, all series combined, they are 89 to be admitted to the first round, or 48% .

61 students thus obtained their general baccalaureate (45%), and 28 their technological baccalaureate (56%). And, all series combined, 48 graduated with honors.

For comparison, 72% of candidates for the general and technological bac had been admitted to the first round in July 2017. Much lower results which reflect the difficult learning conditions this year.

64 students are invited to the repechage: 48 in general and 16 in technology.
