Regularly, the services of the Collectivity organize meetings to inform associations of the criteria for awarding grants. The files received are then processed by the grants committee. The Executive Councils, last month, granted several aids to sports associations including Speedy Plus, Caribbean Karate Oyama and the Territorial Basketball Committee of Saint Martin.
The elected officials therefore gave their agreement for: aid of € 40.000 to the association Speedy Plus in order to organize the international athletics meeting on May 7; advance aid to the Caribbean Karate Oyama association including the payment of five plane tickets for the French kyokushinkai Karate Championship on March 26 in Lyon and advance aid including the support of 15 plane tickets Round trip Saint-Martin / Martinique for the Antilles-Guyane U13 tournament and 15 other tickets for the Antilles-Guyane U15 tournament, this month.
