L'avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin is resuming its athletics training this Tuesday, September 12. Ready, set, go !
The ASCSM club chaired by Patrick Trival is making its sporting return today from 17 p.m. to 18:15 p.m. at the Albéric Richards stadium for the Athletics School, chicks, juniors, etc… to Master categories (2017 and before). The amount of the annual subscription (license) is €100.
The young shoots (Baby Athlé, years 2018 and 2019) have an appointment as for them this Wednesday, September 13 from 16:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. at the Halle des Sports in Marigot. The license fee is €75.
The documents to be supplied:
- photo
– medical certificate of no contraindication to competitive athletics practice dating back less than 3 months
– photocopy of identity document
– civil liability insurance certificate
See you on October 1st for the “Back to school strides”
Note that the 2023 Back to School Strides will take place on Sunday October 1st (5 km run and walk) without forgetting the 2 km race for children born between 2009 and 2013.
This 21st edition is part of the Pink October campaign, national month for the fight against breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in France and represents the leading cause of cancer death in women. This is why it is important not to be afraid to talk about it and get informed. “It is necessary to adopt good reflexes such as screening, which can save lives,” underlines the website of the National League Against Cancer. “Detected early, breast cancer is cured in 90% of cases! ". Pink October is the month when we find out about breast cancer and talk to those around us. But you have to think about it all year round!
Registrations will take place on September 30 at the Halle des Sports in Marigot from 9 a.m. to 13 p.m. Registration fee: 10 euros or 10 dollars (5 km run and walk). The 2 km race for children is free.
The funds collected for the 5 km Walk will be donated to an association. Come along, it’s for a good cause! _AF
