Business and Professional Women Concordia Saint Martin (BPW) will hold its annual candle lighting and new member installation ceremony on July 7, 2018 from 19 to 22 p.m. at the Concordia CCI.
BPW was founded by Dr. Lena Madesin Phillips of the United States over 85 years ago. A few years later, she conceived the idea of the Candle Lighting Ceromony. As we perform this ceremony, we will evoke historical memories. The candles symbolize the ambitions and efforts of dedicated women in all countries of the world.
Come share this event and this fundraising experience with us to support our actions aimed at "empowering women to achieve the sustainable development goals".
A speaker will also be present at this evening, shows and a dinner aperitif is also on the program for the guests.
