The Art For Science association led by Mélanie Dal Gobbo is organizing for the first time a charity dinner at the restaurant l'Oursin de la Samanna this Thursday, June 8 at 18 p.m. with a menu signed by the two-Michelin-starred chef, Marcel Ravin, and the sale of works of art created by Saint-Martin artists.
Since 2019, Art For Science has been leading three fights around the benefits of art on the brain: defending and telling the powers of everyone's brain, revealing that art is a source of cerebral stimulation, protecting and helping researchers who are struggling, with or without drugs, against brain tumors in adults and children. With a partnership with the prestigious Hotel La Samanna of the Belmond group located in Terres Basses, the association recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) is therefore launching its first charity gala this Thursday, June 8 at the restaurant l'Oursin whose objective is twofold: to collect donations thanks to the dinner ticket office which will help to launch the Art For Science Kids & Young program at the start of the school year and to highlight the works of art of Saint-Martin artists during he meal whose menu concocted by Marcel Ravin instantly awakens the taste buds: fiery sweet potato, sea urchin & king prawns, Iberian pork chops, Colombo fish or even Vacherin with guava. During the evening, each work exhibited will be put up for sale at a fixed price. This time, no auction, the first buyer to come forward will win the creation, which will be presented and described by the Art For Science team and the Saint-Martin artists themselves.
