ASSOCIATIVE LIFE: Participatory workshops dedicated to local associations!

0

As part of its partnership with the Fondation de France and Unite Caribbean to support community life, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin organizes participatory workshops in the neighborhoods with local associations.

To carry out this project, which contributes to helping to structure local associations, the Collectivity has chosen to travel to the districts of Saint-Martin, to receive associations from each sector.

The first session took place in Concordia (District n°3) on June 29, the second in Grand-Case (District n°2) on Friday July 8 and the following ones will take place in Quartier d'Orléans (District n°1 ) on Wednesday July 20, in Sandy-Ground (District n°4) on Wednesday July 27 and finally in Marigot (District n°3).

– District No. 1: Wednesday July 20 at 17:30 p.m. in Quartier d'Orléans (Clair St Maximin school)

– Ward N°4 Wednesday July 27 at 17:30 p.m. at Sandy-Ground (Aline Hanson school)

These collective sessions aim to work with association leaders on identified themes such as associative cooperation within the district, the implementation of associative actions or projects, communication, dialogue and the circulation of information in the neighborhood.

The objective of the workshops is to discuss with the associations to find out about their operating methods, share experiences and above all identify their needs.
