Arrested by the gendarmes when he returns home… through the window

A 27-year-old man was convicted of insulting gendarmes who arrested him.

On November 13, he returns home heavily intoxicated in the middle of the night and realizes that he does not have the key. He then decides to go through the window of his roommate's room and breaks a shelf. The neighbors hear it and think of a burglar. They then call the gendarmes. They stop him.

Drunk, he is unable to justify his identity. He is aggressive towards them. The gendarmes handcuff him. "They did it in a violent way, it annoyed me and that is how the insults left," he continued at the bar.

The criminal court sentenced him to a fifteen-day suspended prison sentence. He must also compensate the four insulted gendarmes, up to 150 euros each. (More details on www.soualigapost.com)
