Call for candidates Exhibitors at the Paris Fair 2017, from May 27 to 7, 2017

For the second edition of the Foire de Paris, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin is launching a call for applications to exhibitors to invite them to join the Institutional and Catering stands in the community of Saint-Martin. 

The Collectivity wishes to offer socio-professionals in Saint-Martin the opportunity to participate in this major commercial opportunity.

Future exhibitors will have 4 to 12 days to present and sell their products in a unique commercial context at the heart of the Foire de Paris.

What is the impact of this event?

The first commercial and festive event in Europe with more than 575 visitors over 000 days, the Paris Fair has three main functions: Exhibiting, Selling and Communicating.

The Paris Fair is a place conducive to discovery and innovation thanks to its various events highlighting new business in many areas. A major economic and cultural asset for exhibitors.

Its flagship area "Terre des Tropiques", where all the French islands are represented, is one of the most visited places in Europe.

The representation of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin at the Paris Fair contributes to the reputation of the territory, to the promotion of its crafts and its culture, while offering real economic opportunities to businesses on the island.

The Fair will take place from April 27 to May 7, 2017. It opens its doors to the general public from 10 to 19h, every day, with a night evening until 22h - La Nocturne de la Foire.

How to participate in the Paris Fair?

Candidate to become an exhibitor at the Institutional stand of Saint-Martin

- Be a craftsman or trader or association able to market products or services in Metropolitan France

- To be able to represent Saint-Martin thanks to his or her products

- Be ready to work under Fair conditions, i.e. keep on the stand from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m., for at least 4 consecutive days

- 12 days of Fair divided into 2 or 3 rotations according to your availability.

Candidate to become an exhibitor at the Restauration stand in Saint-Martin

- Be a craftsman or trader or association able to market products

- Be ready to work under the conditions of the Fair, that is to say stay on the stand from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m.

- Have knowledge about sourcing and purchasing food in Paris

- Be at least 2 people per team

- Offer a typical Saint-Martin menu for sale (BBQ prohibited for safety reasons except cooked outside).

To support you in this commercial approach, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin provides you with:

- An Institutional stand set up for the sale and exhibition of products

- A catering stand equipped for food preparation and storage

- On-site staff to support exhibitors throughout their participation

- The cost of travel and accommodation on site (except meals)

- Highlighting of each exhibitor: Printing of logos, press articles.

- Assistance to prepare the departure of exhibitors and products to Paris

You must submit your application to the Economic Development Center of the community of Saint-Martin (Port Building in Galisbay).
