Last Thursday, in court, two individuals were suspected of stealing a scooter and a third of violence with the use of a weapon, in the same case.
AM, the owner of a stolen two-wheeler, could not confirm to the court that he saw FA and AV, two friends, in possession of his scooter. AM does not deny having "jostled" and given "a few slaps" to one of the alleged thieves. However, he rejects all charges relating to possession of a gun. He explains that he only had a knife with him as usual that day. On the AV side, we find a very angry young man who proclaims his innocence with ardor, explaining that he has no interest in stealing such a small scooter since he owns one bigger than AM The court has relaxed AV and AF (absent) of the charge of theft committed in assembly, lack of evidence. AM is ordered to pay a fine of 200 euros for violence. _KL
