“Smile at life”, the new catchy image of Saint Martin

Thursday evening, the Tourist Office of Saint-Martin unveiled in its premises, in Marigot, its brand new communication campaign. The numerous guests, partners and elected officials of the Collectivity appreciated the video and the various promotional visuals.

 “For the first time in the history of the Tourist Office, local actors were the first to see this campaign”, underlined in her speech Jeanne Vanderpool-Rogers, president of the institution. This new campaign is the result of more than two years of consultations. Last November, the communication agency Horizon Bleu was selected to highlight the strengths of the destination, resulting in “feelings of well-being, happiness and relaxation”, specified the president. . “Having a new image”, “increasing the awareness of the destination” and “creating traffic” by setting up mechanisms to “directly reach the customers that interest us” are the three objectives of this campaign, explained the director of the Kate Richardson Tourist Office, which unveiled on this occasion the new slogan entitled “Smile at life”, underlining the diversity of the tourist offer: gastronomy, beaches, nautical and sports activities, etc. The video, which required two weeks of filming, encourages the visitor to “live human or cultural experiences” and shows the richness of the island with sublime shots, filmed by a drone. The public will have to wait until next month to discover this video which will be posted on several social networks, noted the director. The final budget for this campaign (the last one dating from 2009) has not yet been established, but it would turn around 400.000 / 450.000 euros, said the director during the press briefing, at the end of the presentation. The campaign, which will be primarily digital, will be unveiled to all partners on September 22 in Sao Paulo, September 30 in Paris and October 15 in New York.
