The development of Marigot Bay was once again debated by the territorial council on Thursday morning. The new president intends to conduct the project in several stages and the first will be devoted to the development of medium cruising. He wishes to give the port establishment (satellite of the COM) the revision of the project and the charge of carrying out the necessary studies. For this a grant of 100 euros will be granted. The elected representatives of the territorial council were invited to validate the three wishes of the president (priority to the medium cruising initially, to give the revision to the port establishment and to grant a subsidy of 000 euros to the port).
The majority voted for, the four members of the Alliance (MJP + Hope Party) abstained and Alain Richardson voted against because he does not want the reflection of the project to be carried out by the executive council, he considers that it must be led by the territorial council.
