The low-cost long-haul airline Level launched last Tuesday its new link between Paris and Guadeloupe. Its new base will host flights to New York and Martinique in September.

Since July 3, 2018, the Spanish subsidiary specializing in expensive flights of the IAG group (British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia and Vueling) has offered four weekly rotations (in Airbus A330-200 that can accommodate 21 passengers in Premium class and 293 in Economy ) between Orly and Pointe à Pitre-Pôle Caraïbes airport. Take-offs are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 16:10 p.m. to land at 19:10 p.m., return flights leaving Guadeloupe at 21:20 p.m. to arrive the next day at 11:20 a.m. The competition comes this time from Air Caraïbes, Air France (also at CDG), Corsair and XL Airways (at CDG).

Flights to the Martinique planned in September

Thanks to the arrival this summer of a second A330-200, Level will also launch two other transatlantic routes from Paris in September, first to Fort de France-Aimé Césaire airport in Martinique on September 3 (Monday, Thursday and Saturday facing the same competition as in Guadeloupe). From November 4, two additional flights will be added to this line, which will then be operated every day except Monday and Wednesday. Then on July 4, it will fly to Newark-Liberty (4 flights per week). _AF
