During a search of SJ's house for another case, the gendarmes found an iPhone 4 cell phone. According to investigators, this stolen cell phone belongs to a lady who does not live on the island, having already filed a complaint against his attackers. The link between the lady and her cellphone was made thanks to her email recorded during the configuration of the phone. According to his remarks, SJ was unaware of the theft of this telephone.
