The first accident took place at the end of the afternoon in the straight line of Nettle Bay. For reasons still unknown, a vehicle struck a scooter. The motorcyclist and his passenger, as well as the driver of the pick-up, were slightly injured in the shock and transported to the hospital. Note that the two people on board the scooter were not wearing protective helmets.
The second accident occurred around 21:30 p.m. near the "Petit Hôtel" in Grand-Case. Again, the pilot of a two-wheeler lost control of his vehicle after hitting a “Hummer” type vehicle from the rear. Only the motorcyclist was slightly injured and taken in charge by the emergency services.
