This year, the New Year's promotion distinguished 11 ultramarines from Martinique, Guadeloupe, Reunion, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Guyana and Mayotte. This promotion represents the last of three civilian promotions of 2015 after those of Easter and July 14.
