As part of the Ultramarine Skills Investment Pact (PUIC), the Collectivity of Saint-Martin and the State have been deploying a program to professionalize training organizations in the territory, since December 2021.

The launch of phase 2 took place on Monday, July 25, 2022, in the presence of the 3rd vice-president Dominique LOUISY, the territorial councilor Martine BELDOR, president of the Employment, Apprenticeship, Training, Integration commission and Raphaël SANCHEZ, President of the Youth Commission.

The Collectivity of Saint-Martin and the State are continuing their actions to support training organizations in order to enable them to acquire new skills. This public system called “Of Competences”, is financed by the State to the tune of €200 (PUIC) and deployed with the help of the project manager OPCO AKTO.

A first phase of work, carried out until February 2022, consisted of supporting training organizations to obtain QUALIOPI certification, mandatory since January 1, 2022.

The second phase, which extends until December 2022, consists of providing employees of training organizations with a program intended to increase their skills.

Thanks to this support, training organizations can professionalize their structure, improve their organization and their operation; a means of strengthening the quality of the training offer in the territory and of meeting the growing needs of the population in terms of vocational training.

This system makes it possible to modernize tools and innovate, in particular through digitalization, to meet the administrative requirements of public sponsors and to be part of an educational, legal and institutional environment that complies with the right rules.

This program is initiated in partnership with the training organizations of Saint-Martin and with the support of OPCO AKTO and Cabinet LEFEVRE DALLOZ, specialized in this field of intervention.

Through the launch of phase 2, Monday July 25, 2022, the Collectivity has shown its desire to structure its territory and to work collectively at the service of users wishing to acquire skills through vocational training.
