On Friday, June 10, several investigators as well as staff from the prosecutor's office and the Alpha team carried out two house searches.
It was in the Cole Bay sector that the two searches were carried out, under the supervision of the investigating judge. The latter were carried out on the basis of information collected by the police, indicating that narcotics and firearms were transported to two homes.
If during the first search no drugs or weapons were discovered, at the second home, a large quantity of narcotics was seized, as well as a compact automatic assault rifle.
Following this "descent" by the police, a suspect was arrested and transferred to the Philipsburg police station. He was kept in detention pending further investigation. _AF
