Hit successively last month by the devastating hurricanes Eta (category 4) and Iota which reached category 5, maximum force for cyclones, the inhabitants of the tiny islands of the archipelago San Andrés, Providencia and Catalina, located in the West of the Caribbean Sea, simply experienced the apocalypse. The word is not too strong ...

During the night of Sunday 15 to Monday 16 November, these territories suffered winds of more than 260 km / h. The eye of the hurricane passed just 8 kilometers from Providencia, a small island with an area of 17 km2 located off the coast of Nicaragua where 5000 inhabitants live. The record is terrible. There is no longer a house standing, the only health center is on land ... 98% of the island's infrastructure has been destroyed and many deaths are unfortunately to be deplored on this island popular with divers, which is home to the third largest coral reef of the world and where normally the Caribbean Sea shines with “seven colors”.

See you this weekend at Plénitude (Friar's Bay)

After Hurricane Iota sowed chaos and desolation on the archipelago, a large chain of solidarity was organized to come to the aid of the many affected families. Like the “Yoginis” and “Reiki Girls” of Saint-Martin who offer Yoga sessions and Reiki treatments at Plénitude in Friar's Bay this Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December. Two days of well-being to do good and do good especially to those who are currently in need on the island of Providencia!

Note that the entire proceeds of the weekend placed under the sign of solidarity will be donated to the Rotary-Club, which is already working on the spot to help the local population.

Come many, it's for a good cause! _AF
