The Vélo-Club de Grand-Case and Nagico Insurance are organizing this weekend the 5th edition of the Grand-Prix "Nagico to Nagico", an event that has become essential over the years and sponsored this year by Mr. Richard Virenque!

It was at the Clubhouse, at Derrick Lake, in Grand-Case, that the official presentation of the 5th edition of the famous “Nagico to Nagico” race, organized from May 19 to 21, took place last Tuesday.

Were present, David Menissier (Nagico Insurance Director), Constantin Désert (Deputy Director), Gilbert Pachy (Nagico Chief Accountant), Lisa Brown (Nagico Marketing Director) and his team, Daniel Rémi (President of the Saint Martin Cycling Committee), the Moté President of the Vélo-Club de Grand-Case and his loyal lieutenant, René Arnell, club coordinator.

All the big names in local and regional cycling are expected this weekend during one of the most beautiful races organized in the Caribbean arc.

Between sixty and seventy runners will start the race which will take place over three days with the traditional prologue organized on Friday evening on the Causeway Bridge in Sint-Maarten.

Of course, we will follow with interest the performance of the VCG team which will be composed of Ludovic Turpin, Grégory Blondin, Grégory Errin, Nicolas Dumont, Vivian Alidor, Olivier Currier and Edouard Bénitez.

Note that the Juniors selection from Saint-Martin will also be present on the starting line. A good opportunity to prepare for the Guadeloupe Juniors Tour which is looming on the horizon!

Many runners from Guadeloupe, Santo Domingo, Anguilla and Sint-Maarten are also expected.

A quick nod to Vincent Louiche, friend of Jason Rousseau who traveled from the Metropolis to participate in this 5th edition.

The members of VCG, Nagico Assurances, main partner of the event since the first edition and the other local sponsors thank in advance all the volunteers who will work throughout the weekend to make this race a great sporting celebration and popular!_AF
