After the prologue disputed last Friday on the Causeway Bridge and won by Larry Lutin of the Karukéra PDL team, the Vélo-Club de Grand-Case left only crumbs to its direct competitors during the 5th edition of the “Nagico” race to Nagico ".
"We had a perfect race", underlines Nicolas Dumont, big winner of the 5th edition of the "Nagico to Nagico" race. “My teammates and I managed to control the event step by step. It is a logical success, which does not suffer from any dispute ”.
And for good reason ! From Saturday morning, during the first stage in line, 85 km long between Bellevue and Grand-Case, Nicolas Dumont won solo with 6 seconds ahead of the Guadeloupean, Teddy Tarane and his teammate, Ludovic Turpin.
Saturday afternoon, place for the individual time trial between Marigot and Grand-Case (7,1 km). Here again, Nicolas Dumont was the best performer ahead of Larry Lutin and Ludovic Turpin, respectively four and eight seconds behind at the finish line.
Sunday, during the final stage between Philipsburg and Marigot (120 km), the VCG training was content to master the race from start to finish, leaving only a few exit vouchers for the adventurers of the day. Without success !

The Vélo-Club de Grand-Case left its mark on the 5th edition of the “Nagico to Nagico” race with the victory of Nicolas Dumont, winner in 2014, 2015 and… 2017!
