107 additional sorting stations by the end of the year

The European Sustainable Development Week, led by the Ministry of Ecology, ended yesterday. As part of this event, the students were made aware of sorting procedures through an exhibition organized in the media library, at the initiative of the Department of the Environment and the living environment of the Collectivity. With its partner Eco-Emballages, the COM has therefore launched its communication campaign on selective sorting. The 20 sorting ambassadors will travel through the different neighborhoods to explain this system to the population. Before the end of the year, 107 additional sorting stations will be set up in the region. The objective is to encourage residents to sort, and to achieve 22kg of recycled waste per inhabitant by 2018. _EH
