This would be a crucial step to manufacture a vaccine and an antiviral against Zika, reports the publication. A clinical trial - for an experimental vaccine - by the American Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NAID) is scheduled for next September.
In Saint-Martin, epidemiological indicators show “a decreasing trend which remains to be confirmed”, according to the Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS). The latest bulletin indicates that 83 cases have been biologically confirmed in the territory.
