During the presentation of the first directory of associations on July 11, Martine Beldor, president of the associative life commission accompanied by her team, detailed the projects to come before the assembly made up of Saint-Martin associations.

With this new tool at the service of associations and users, the associative life of Saint-Martin intends to develop its support with all the dynamism that characterizes the team supervised by Paul Dollin, deputy general manager of the service. A Maison des Associations will soon be built in Grand-Case to complete the response to requests from associations in the area and provide a meeting point for associations. It was also announced the dematerialization of applications for associative grants from 2024 in order to simplify the procedures. The Collectivity is also working on the speed of file processing, which is now a priority for the community life service and the objective set for agents. Still with the aim of bringing associations together for more solidarity, Martine Beldor and her team will organize the first Forum of Associations in October 2023 with the theme of "Federating associations". The promotion of volunteers and the work carried out by associations throughout the year is important for the president of the Associative Life Commission, the second edition of the Volunteer Gala will therefore take place in December 2023.

To close the chapter on upcoming projects, a unique calendar of collective engineering will be presented at the PAVA (Support point for Associative Life) at Sandy Ground, open at the end of 2022, in partnership with the associations Kogito, Unite Caribbean and Initiative Saint Martin. Active. Other PAVAs should soon see the light of day in order to deploy technical and administrative assistance to associations that also benefit from the support toolbox. _VX
