Blue Horizon 2016 Program

This Tuesday, September 6, the Saint-Martin Football League will deliver “animation kits” under the HB 2016 program to the three clubs that responded to the FFF's call for projects on the theme of animation.

In a logic of support and structuring of amateur football clubs, the French Football Federation launched its call for projects "Blue Horizon 2016" in order to make UEFA Euro 2016 more festive, but also in the optics to bring to life a lasting legacy of football. Three specific themes were proposed: Training - Infrastructures - Activities.

As part of the animation theme, three Saint Martin football clubs responded favorably to this call with the support of the Saint Martin Football League. The project consisted in setting up an event around Euro 2016, focused on one of the 5 types of entertainment offered by the FFF.

United Stars and Saint Louis Stars opted for the “MY CLUB FESTIVAL EURO 2016” operation, which consisted in organizing a social, educational or united action meeting an objective of general interest. The FC Concordia club opted instead for the "FESTIVAL FOOT EURO 2016" operation, which consisted in organizing a sports platform.

The files of the three football clubs were retained and a "Promotion Kit" consisting of tarpaulins, banners and a kakemono was given to each one to promote their events.

United Stars and Saint Louis Stars hosted two separate events on June 11, 2016, the day after the start of the European Cup. United Stars organized a tournament intended for young people between 12 and 15 years old and Saint Louis Stars, set up the animation "discovery of football" intended for children from 6 to 9 years old from all walks of life.

The FC Concordia event "Festifoot, Euro à nous" was implemented on July 9 and targeted young people in the Concordia district.

Following the completion of these projects, the FFF rewarded the actions and commitment of the participating clubs by awarding an endowment. Each received an "Animation Kit".

The Saint-Martin Football League will then proceed to this allocation of prizes to the three clubs in its premises located at 34, rue de la Liberté, in Marigot, on Tuesday September 6 at 18 p.m. _AF
