A construction company, whose legal representative is WM, appeared yesterday morning before the local court of Saint-Martin for acts of concealment, by legal person, of the proceeds of a crime. In other words, the company was criticized for having accepted in January 2019 a payment of several tens of thousands of euros from the Collectivity in return for the completion of a site knowing that the contract had not been concluded in the rules of art.
According to the gendarmerie investigation, the company would have been favored by agents of the Collectivity to obtain a roof renovation project. Nor has it provided all of the administrative documents that it is necessary to present in this type of procedure. For the prosecution, the deal was made illegally and that is why he decided to sue the company.
Initially, an appearance on prior admission of guilt (or hearing to plead guilty) had been proposed to the representative of the company; A CRPC is a procedure that allows the perpetrator of an offense to be quickly judged who recognizes the facts. But WM refused it, hence his summons to the local court. Another company (hardware store), also accused of the same facts, will appear alongside him. The Collectivity was also summoned Thursday morning as a victim.
