President, Daniel Gibbs, the first vice-president, Valérie Damaseau and the vice-president, Yawo Nyuiadzi received last week a delegation of business leaders from the bar and restaurant sector, to discuss the terms of resumption of their activity.

Through this exchange, the president and his executive wanted to listen to these professionals and inform them of the Community's desire to see this sector of activity quickly return to service, just like the other companies in the territory authorized to gradually reopen their businesses. doors starting May 11.
Everyone was able to express their point of view, discuss their difficulties and make proposals for resuming activity in compliance with health and safety rules.

Reopening on May 18?

The restaurateurs are ready to reopen their establishments with a reduced staff initially. The partial unemployment system thus remains essential for the survival of their businesses, they were unanimous on the need to extend this system until the end of 2020.
