The success of the summer sports ticket operation, set up by the Youth and Sports Service of the Community, cannot be denied. Thus, 96 children, aged 7 to 14, were able to discover many sports activities offered throughout the month of July.
The organizers of the Ticket sports operation once again offered a wide range of sports disciplines to children, still just as numerous, each year. The Community recognizes the benefits of sport because it contributes to the physical and psychological health of individuals as well as to the development of motor skills and coordination. It also contributes to social ties and education. Universal and guarantor of important values such as respect for others, rigor, perseverance and fair play, sport must be accessible to everyone and, in particular, to young people. This is why the Youth and Sports Service attaches so much importance to the “Ticket Sports” operation which will celebrate its 20 years next year. In the meantime, the 96 children will have fun to their heart from Monday to Friday, from 8h to 13h with on the program, football, rugby, basketball, volleyball, ultimate, athletics, zumba, tennis, boxing and nautical activities at the Galleon : kayaking, paddle, swimming and beach foot. The “Ticket Sports” operation ends today, on Galion beach with a big party offered to children as a closing. _AF
