The driver of a scooter, a fast food delivery man, died after colliding with another two-wheeler driver. The drama unfolded Wednesday afternoon on Cole Bay Hill. He is the first victim of the road in this new year 1 in part Dutch.
According to the spokesperson for the Sint Maarten police, the two motorcyclists collided head-on for reasons still unknown. The investigation will have to determine the exact causes of this new drama of the road.
Despite the rapid arrival of rescue teams, one of the two pilots died at the scene of the accident as a result of his injuries.
The other injured scooter rider was evacuated to Sint Maarten Medical Center.
