Transport: Juliana, second Caribbean airport most frequented by private jets

PrivateFly, the international online booking platform for private jets, has established for its customers a ranking of the ten most frequented Caribbean airports for charter flights of private jets during the high season.

Juliana Airport comes in second, behind San Juan Airport (Luis Muños Marin) in Puerto Rico. Between November 2016 and April 2017, the latter hosted 2825 jets, compared to 1668 for Sint Maarten. “In our annual survey, the St Maarten landing was voted one of the 10 best scenic landings in the world in 2018,” the platform also specifies.

Gustavia Airport (Saint-Barthélemy) ranks ninth in the top 10 of the airports most frequented by private jets, with 428 flights recorded during the 2016-2017 tourist season.
