On Tuesday November 1, 52 people in an irregular situation were discovered on board a catamaran during a PAF check carried out in Marigot Bay.
The three crew members, of Dutch nationality and one Saint-Lucien were tried in immediate appearance, last Friday, at the tribunal de grande instance of Basse-Terre.
The skipper was sentenced to four years in prison, the other two accomplices to two years. _AF
